Change is life

Change is life or maybe life is change? We can play with this word the same as the change is playing with us all the time! It is also a word that has many variations of adjectives: change can be big, pleasant, hard, radical, constant, inevitable, nice, tempting, unexpected, negative…

Everyone sometimes thinks about a CHANGE. To change work, place, dressing style, diet, your attitude, your habits, your partner ..

The truth is that even though we are a bit afraid of change and try to avoid it, change is the only certain thing in our life!

Everything is constantly changing and because of this all life evolves.. our body changes.. day and night change.. the weather changes.. and so we inevitably change too..

I remember someone once told me “he won’t change”.. It was about my ex-partner.. for a while I believed that people don’t change.. until I started to see it on myself..

I am now also experiencing a change.. I could also describe it as inevitable, sometimes pleasant, exciting but sometimes demanding..

I have been sitting in front of a computer screen for several hours, every day, and I said a few years ago that this is exactly not going to happen!

But sometimes the things we reject are necessary to accept and work on them…

The truth is that over the screen I can see the garden, it’s a beautiful time of spring with green grass, lots of colorful flowers with pleasant smells and birds that have been singing to it since the morning..

In my life there is one change after another, and believe me, I usually don’t want to be part of them either.

The feeling that I’m losing my security, which is of course anyway insecure… yes, but… it’s more comfortable to stay in what we know, what seems safer to us, and kind of enjoy it.

But sometimes the change is really inevitable and if we don’t reach for it, we can be pushed into it.

Unfortunately, I have a lot of experience with that…

I didn’t listen to my body, which kept telling me to leave my old way of life, which was certainly fun and action-packed, but also very exhausting, unhealthy and stressful.. and so I ended up at the age of 33 in the hospital with a diagnosis I had never known before it exists..

What do I mean by that? That many of our health problems are signals for change! And they evolve too, which means if we don’t listen, they may turn into chronic and autoimmune diseases…

We are all different and so we all have different needs and different ways of making changes. Some people need extreme, radical, big and fast changes, and some people prefer gradual, gentle and slow ones.

It is important not to be pushed by the others and to really feel your need for change. And if you feel it, on the contrary, don’t be discouraged by the fact that those around you don’t understand you!

It is good to ask yourself:

  1. Will this change be beneficial for me? – not for my ego and mind but for my heart and soul?
  2. What was the first trigger? – it just came to me, did I feel it?
  3. Where do I wish to be? – what does my soul desire?

But what if the change comes “by itself” and unexpectedly? Maybe we get fired from the job or our partner breaks up with us. It is necessary to tell yourself that:

Even a change that appears to us as “negative” is a great opportunity!

Our mind will tell us that it shouldn’t be like that, but whatever is happening, believe that it is exactly how it should be and the faster we accept this fact, the easier the process will be for us.

And life goes on.

Of course, this acceptance may not be a simple process!!! And so we can afford to continue step by step..

Every change brings its own losses and benefits.. and every change can also stress us a lot..

Doctor Jan Vojacek says that it is good to consciously expose yourself to little changes and thereby become flexible. For example, if you always take the tram to work, you suddenly decide to take the bus and thereby break the rut. (Change is medicine – Jan Vojacek: how to awaken the ability of self-healing in your own organism)

It may seem like a small thing, but it will make the body and mind more flexible.. and thus the blood vessels and nerves will also become flexible, which are necessary for the signals to proceed correctly and the body not to suffer because we resist change.

Therefore, we accept change as part of our life.

One of my friends decided to make a change in her profession, and those around her reacted with the words: “Now at this time?” and she responded with the words: “If not now, then when?”

And so in conclusion, I can only add that we should be happy that we live in a time when we can make changes! And that at this time there are even specialists who can help us with this change!

And so let it go and face the change.
